Best Weapon at 50

What is the best overall weapon for PUG's to use at R50? I usually tank in a duo with a CON, but more and more am taking the role of DD/Tank in the LS. I've been looking at the Jade Hora, but I welcome any advice!

Jade Hora is the best for tanking. (Highest parry)
I'm using a Peiste Cesti myself as a DD, since the repair mat for jade hora is a real pain.

I've tested Disabling Baghs (NQ), +1, Peiste Cesti (NQ), +1 and it makes a very small difference on high defense NMs like Uraeus probably no difference at all in terms of dmg.

Does the "parry" stat on weapons effect strictly parrying? Because if so this seems completely useless as Pug, since h2h weapons dont parry.

You can parry as pug, i have seen it happen and also have used the marauder skill Fracture that requires a parry to proc wile i was pug. On that note fracture is fun wile pug tanking although i find the parry hard to notice on pugs with all the action going on around me, wish it would tell you in red that you parryed like when you evade.

Sorry but H2H weapons do parry but probably not often. The only DoW weapons that cannot parry are bows, like someone already mentioned if you have Foresight II or even I which almost guarantees a parry proc you will see it happen.

Not sure that is 100% true I believe I have parried as a 50 archer many times before

its gonna be jade hora hands down on any NMs, on non NMs boarskin+1 seems to do more dmg than any other knuckle

How do you figure that, boarskin +1 has like 18 less attack than pestie cesti +1

Also imo i would use jade hora if you were tanking but pestie cesti if you were just DD do to higher acc and the fact that crits seem to make very little difference if any on most of the nms. I do need to get a pair of jade hora +1 though because i do tank nm's fairly frequently. Definitly all i would use them for is nm tanking do to the repair mat being so annoying to make. Would throw in Disabling Baghs +1 if the mob was week to slashing.

I have no clue but can only offer it up to weapon dmg type since boarskins are the highest ranked 100% blunt knuckles we get. I've done reg levequests with them and they consistently out dmg peiste or jade or disabling/smothering on reg hits, seems to be a bit lower on weaponskills compared to the higher ranked knuckles but on any reg hit boarskins would do more.

just gotta look for that red 0 that pops up, wish it was like evade though and just show the word "parry" instead of the red zero.
