My question is that for the "Fly the Falcon Mount Campaign" does it have to be 90 days?I was planning on getting the 180 days subscription but don't know if that will work for the "Fly the falcon mount campaign".

Well it does say in red letters;


The initial free play period included with new product registrations, the free login period from the Callback Campaign, and the free play period granted for moving to New/Preferred Worlds do not count toward the 90 day requirement.

The number of days of subscription time added to your account, excluding free play periods, is how eligibility will be determined.

This does not mean that 90 days must have elapsed to be eligible. For example, you can still obtain the mount if you purchase a 90-day subscription period on September 30, 2017.

If you have remaining subscription time that was purchased before the campaign period, or you have an active recurring subscription, we will calculate any remaining game time available as of Saturday, July 1, towards the campaign.

Free Trial accounts are ineligible for the campaign.

My gut is telling me to go for the 180 days

You can buy a whole year if you want. You just need to have aquired at least 90 days paid for by the end of the promotion.

You can buy a 30 day block 3x if you're recurring and get this, or you can buy 90 days on the last day of the promotion, or 30 or whatever, as long as it adds up to 90 days of game time by last day of promotion.

I think I'm going to be ineligible for this mount, even though I've maintained an active subscription since ARR launch and plan to for the foreseeable future. My last renewal was on March 30 for 180 days of game time, that puts a renewal at September 26th, but I got the free day for the data center move + the 15 days for the preferred world bonus. That puts my renewal out to October 12th with a total of 87 days of paid subscription during the period (the rest ineligible time)

It isn't possible to renew early and I don't know if game time cards can be added while you have a recurring subscription.

If you did 6 month sub and have 90 paid days or more left as of July 1st you will get the mount September 5th, the only other way to add to your sub is to buy a time card which can be added to your account regardless if you have time remaining as long as it does not go over 180 days.
