Can't believe I'm doing this but... I agree 100% with Thunda_Cat.
The fight is NOT hard. It's very easy actually, as long as you pay attention. Don't tunnel vision.
And it's not even that hard to understand his stuff... He has "a lot" of mechanics, but nothing really new or special except perhaps the tail and the floor thing (I don't do savages so Iunno). You see a tornado? Don't get pushed off by it. See the ground turn to ice? Don't move. See "comet" indicators on the ground? Get to a safe spot. It's not hard and everything is clearly telegraphed.

As far as I know, it has no enrage. However, I've done it as a light party now several times, and on one of those occasions our party had poor DPS and tail placement. As a result, the platform became so small that it was impossible to dodge his fly-overs. As an 8-player party though, that doesn't actually matter if your party is good. As a 4-man party it wiped us though due to the Vuln stacks making it impossible to survive the Hypernova stack.
I'm very sorry but I will tell my experience. I went in right after msq cutscenes with msq gear and downed it on our second try as a WHM. I will give u this, Yesterday I went in as trial roulette and it was awful, a joke, 3 tries and a disband. Today though again as trial roulette I get 3 new ppl one of them a tank the other the second healer and the third a dps. They all said from beginning that where new. I and another player in french explained tactics... guess what... down at first time!! A few downs but with quick raises nothing special.
Tldr: it's not a hard fight, def not savage level, I aplaud the effort to make a end patch fight challenging

While this fight is an excellent example of what a good trial encounter is; it is too complex, especially for Duty Finder PUGs, in its current state to be a main ingredient to the MSQ and the gateway to everything afterwards. Now that the main rush is through and will probably not revisit this fight SE must consider re-balancing this fight so that succeeding groups have an opportunity to successfully complete it. While others may disagree with me it is my honest opinion that SE must do this immediately.
I don't think this is necessary. Not only will rising IL naturally nerf the fight, but if people can't clear it, just wait a bit and as time goes on, more and more people in the fight will be roulettes that know the fight. A single good healer can almost entirely carry the fight, as long as at least 4 players, including one tank, are able to die less than once every 2 minutes. While this fight is an excellent example of what a good trial encounter is; it is too complex, especially for Duty Finder PUGs, in its current state to be a main ingredient to the MSQ and the gateway to everything afterwards. Nocturnia- what u say is true... give it time please please don't nerf it...
There is one thing I'd like to change and that is the part where you have to spam your mouse button. I fail that more than 50% of the timeI know you might think "omg lol how do you fail a simple button smash?"... Well I have arthritis and that means fast, repetitive movement causes my finger to get tired so I can't spam fast enough or the spamming hurts so much I have to stop and if the group can't do it with 1-3 tries I start failing the mechanic 100% of the time because I can't even try to spam the button anymore. If the timer was just 1 or 2 seconds longer I'd be able to do it, but now I just feel like I'm causing problems for the group on a mechanic that shouldn't be an issue at all.
You probably considered what I'm going to suggest, but when you know it's coming, would switching and clicking with your other hand help? I know not everyone is capable of using both hands equally(myself included), but it might help with mitigating the amount of stress you put on your main mouse hand. There is one thing I'd like to change and that is the part where you have to spam your mouse button. After wipefest after wipefest I just gave up and asked my static for help. All in all this fight felt harder than both ex mode primals. If I get it in the daily trial, I'm going to take the 30 minutes and go craft. I wish I had the good experience all of you had but mine was horrible and I am in no mood to give it a second chance, not for some time.
