New World and World Population Balancing Incentives bug

1. Created character on New Player server
2. Hit level 30
3. Received 15 days free game time as per the new server rewards, but never received the 1 million gil as described on http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...5d22338cf55ce7

opened a GM ticket, but they suggested I report the issue here instead... I created a new character on one of the new worlds to take advantage of the population balancing incentives and hit level 30 this weekend. I received the 15 days of free game time, but never received the 1,000,000 gil reward

You don't get the gil reward because you created a character on an existing preferred world, and not a new world, as described on the above mentioned link. The gil bonus was for creating new characters on new worlds, so the EU worlds Omega and Louisoix, not Goblin. Goblin already existed, it's just preferred because it's less congestion. Create a new character on Louisoix if you want a free million gil at level 30.
