They implement things with the mindset that people will be respectful and not try to cheat. Don't try and blame the communities lack of basic decency on the devs.SE needs some NA/EU people on their team so that they have an actual clue on EU/NA player mindsets when it comes to all sorts of topics, including PvP (and it's rewards.) They implement things that might work for the Japanese player mindset but is completely off base for the rest of the world, be it good or bad...aka a lot of us could ( and have) been saying this change would be (IS) a horrible idea. Just wait, it will get worse and worse...
I've been playing frequently and the number of bots has been minimal. They are easy points if you find them so it's not the worst thing. and most teams have been active in kicking them or afk-er's I'm just happy people are finally going for objectives now that XP has been nerfed a tad.
"Within each of us, the potential for great power waits to be released."
JP can have similar mindsets....I hate this its all a NA/EU problem.....
If people are going to cheat, they will, and they will try their hardest to do it. It's not restricted by global area. They just get more and more creative with getting around restrictions.
Considering alot of cheats for games come from Asian markets as well other markets, one would think it definitely is a universal problem.

Of course JP players can have the same mindset: but it's not an abundant issue on the JP datacenters. We're not having PVP ruined due to AFK players or bots. Come level to 30 and play with us and see, we'll welcome you.JP can have similar mindsets....I hate this its all a NA/EU problem.....

Experience isn't the problem. We simply are provided with the tools nor do the GMs seem to enforce actual consequences for things like this. If the devs ever want PvP to be taken seriously, they need to issue penalties for people caught AFKing or purposely throwing matches. Said punishment could range from be locked out of Duty Finder completely for a set amount of time or even go as high as reducing your current EXP to zero (though not reducing your level).
Nice in theory, but DPS queues average anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes. People are leeching PvP because they can get in faster and it gives more than PotD.How about people just run dungeons or PotD? Bring food. Use FC actions. Make some friends or find Peter Paladin on your server and ask "Hey man, would you like to help me run [instance]?" The worst he'll say is no. The funniest thing he'll say is "Pay me".
Seriously, did anyone see that chart going around? PvE content still gives more than PvP. And loot. And gil. And materia. . . Like, no one was forced to PvP, and PvE STILL offers so much more. Where's the downside here?
That you know of, just because its not abundant to you, doesn't mean its not....clearly it is if there are rules in the TOS against it in the first place no? My server in general is light on bots and afk players. So in my experience, we have a respectful and engaging community. But I realize its not this way on every server on my world nor in the game in general. We both speak from bias, but I acknowledge, cheaters are always going to cheat. On JP servers, NA servers, EU servers....etc..
And I don't find my PvP ruined by bots or AFKers....and im on a NA server...I would not be able to play with the 300+ ping on your servers.....which is not the point of the OP.

The armory Bonus also doesn't apply to Frontlines anymore.
It's really bizarre that Frontlines goes from a competitive EXP gain experience to easily the worst way to try an level with the very first patch of the expansion.
Worst way I wouldn't call it the worst way it's all matter of time efficiency. If your DPS and it takes too long to get into a dungeon if you're using that to level then why would you not use front lines if it's quicker to get in even though dungeons would give more as a whole XP it all depends yeah quantity versus time efficiency which one do you choose?
From what I've seen the majority of people in front lines seem to be doing it only for the Garo achievements mounts and so forth. I'm sure do it for the PVP competitiveness and stuff but I don't know the ratio between the two but just when I've seen the majority seem to be only doing it for the event items and achievements that have already been in place.
