Ah, the ping issues return with a vengeance, hitting EU, South American and Caribbean players hard.
Folks are reporting that they can indeed play the game if they use a VPN that's in, Dallas, let's say. Meaning that SE's DDoS countermeasures are overzealous, again, (This happened in ARR after those DDoS attacks, too, lasted a couple of weeks.) because they're
restricting IPs coming from Europe. This is happening to Caribbean and South American players, because since the data center move two months ago, we're STILL being routed through Europe, despite being MUCH closer to the mainland US.
So there's been issues for us since May, awesome. If it's not one problem, it's another one... Or it's an old one!
Please, Devs, please. This is getting to be more than ridiculous. I'm especially salty because those of us in South America and the Caribbean are NOT in the EU, we can't move, there aren't any special servers for us. Before the data center move, we didn't have these terrible problems.
