The Devs should go back and redesign those two dungeons by making them Solo/AI-assisted entirely to do the cutscene sequences. Then have "EX" versions that allow 8 players, no cutscenes and have much more HP.
I do really feel bad for new players sadly it has become norm for sometime.
Sure one could watch cs at an inn later on, but it does not feel the same
Happened to me also, i think it was Kugane Castle, told the group at the beginning i was new, last boss got that same message and by the time i got there room was sealed..
I told them at the end thanks for locking me out, and people left. I did get comms so my guess was the tank obviously had not cared all too much
It's not "a little longer." Praetorium's cutscenes double the dungeon length at a minimum. If you want to watch literally any other cutscene in this game other than the ones in Praetorium or Castrum Meridianum, go for it, but those have lengthy cutscenes like every three steps and you're in a group of people who 1) probably weren't allowed to watch the cutscenes themselves and 2) are only there for badges. It's the only time in this game that I skipped a cutscene, excluding the ex primal intros, because they were taking so long I felt bad about not contributing to the group (I didn't realize at the time how undertuned the dungeon was). It was a mistake on SE's part and one they have avoided repeating since, but I find it very difficult to be critical of people not wanting to spend an eternity standing around in five year old content all so the one new player can watch cutscenes.
You'd be surprised how often it's the other DPS who pulls.Happened to me also, i think it was Kugane Castle, told the group at the beginning i was new, last boss got that same message and by the time i got there room was sealed..

I always wondered if you could report people who kick or harass players who don't want to skip the CS.
This is why you find a good fc and ask them to run you through it.
I hope you stayed in CS, it's the tanks responsibility to ensure everyone is ready before pulling.

These type of players who came to the MMorpgs Genre after the release of WoW.
Cancer community. If you dont enjoy the game itself (with cutscenes for better atmosphere) for what are you playing then?
How i imagine those people to look like:

As has been mentioned SE dun bad, they KNOW they dun bad, and they have promised never to dun bad again. So far, they've lived up to it - there are no lengthy cutscenes mid-dungeon for any instance after 2.0. They've also made it clear that they have no intention of going back and trying to "fix" the old dungeons. They are as they are and as they will be. Thankfully, with the level cap now at 70, it's not difficult for very small undersized parties to run these dungeons. New players who are in FCs with high-level friends may be able to convince them to run them at a more relaxed pace, so they have an opportunity to watch the cutscenes.
Note that I have been playing the game since ARR launch, and due to the proliferation of max level players coming over from version 1.0, even when I made it to CM and the Praetorium folks were ALREADY speed running, and watching cutscenes was simply not an option if you wanted to participate in the boss fights (which, back then, were slightly more exciting than they are now). I wound up having to watch the cutscenes in the inn, like nearly every player in the game has. This is a problem that's been a part of the game since it first came out.
