Thread: Ask Questions for Letter from the Producer LIVE Part XXXVII! (Exploring Patch 4.0)

Is it possible for us to have some hairstyles from some other races? Au Ra female seem to have a lot of options for longer hairstyles (Like the twintails, and the long hime cut hairstyle).

I'd like to ask how the areas, such as the Lochs, were planned out. It feels oddly unstable compared to facing Odin in the Shroud back then when a LOT of people entered the area. When fighting Ixion, it felt as though the zone was struggling to maintain the players not in comparison to the numbers of larger server (this happened on a mid-pop world). Would this be worked on due to the high and popular demand to get those horn drops?

I've got three questions, hopefully they haven't been already asked. If they have, sorry!

1. Do you have any plans on making FC airships any more interesting than sending a retainer off on ventures? In other Final Fantasy games, having an airship meant the world was unlocked to you and it was a good feeling. There's not much of a good feeling with airships now. Also with the Diadem update there's pretty much no special reason to having an FC airship. It would be great if we could actually board our FC airship and maybe have airship mini games or maybe fish from there.

2. Can we get a cross class glamour? I don't see any reason why not at this point. We've got all this "all class" glamour that's pretty cool, so why not just let us wear other class's gear? If it's something like wanting each class to have some kind of individuality or whatever, their individuality can go as far as the weapon they're using. I've seen tanks dressed in bikinis and healers dressed up as pirates.

3. Will Squadrons get interesting? Leveling them was not fun, or remotely interesting. We pick 4 and send them away for a whole eighteen hours. Come back and repeat. Then once we get our 1st Lieutenant rank, for the most part we ignore them. I'd love to be able to get more interactive with my squadron. Like the airships, they just feel like another retainer venture copy paste.

I haven't done all of the new quests but a couple stood out to me as very refreshing and interesting change of pace. Standing in for a shop keeper or trying out a blow gun was a welcomed change. Would these new objectives continue? And, if possible, could there be a mini-game of these in the future?

Is it possible for the gender-lock on the weapon c-poses to be removed? I noticed that Fordola actually uses somthing like the male paladin pose in one cutscene and it made me super jealous!

Are Scholars what you want them to be from a healing AND damage perspective. The 4.0 patch hurt significantly in both areas... and the new spells, as with the Heavensward expansion are just plain lack luster.

Can we get news on the new Deep Dungeon?
