Can't decide and need some help.

So my plan was to continue to main my white mage since I love healing and samurai was going to be my dps (which admittedly I don't feel I'm that great at yet. Decent tho.). Now I always like to go against the norm and the sam was immensely popular. It is the only sword dps in the game so its natural. I still like it but decided to shelf for a bit. I like machinist (contrary to it disappointing me time and again), and not many people use it. I also really like red mage. I don't tunnel vision like I do with machinist. It also has emergency heal/raise which I like coming from a white mage.


I finally got the machinist gimmick down tho its stressful sometimes making sure I get everything just right. I also have a pistol sized gun which makes up for the aesthetics of the class.

The red mage is crazy flashy, more streamlined, and allows me to focus more on the fight. I also quite like the 70 gear.

Can you guys make an argument for one or the other to help me decide?

Yes I know you can have both, but I don't fee like levelling both all the way right now.

You just indicated that MCH is stressful for you. So go with RDM. Your caster background should help with transitioning to the job anyway.
