Really slow for leveling my RDM from 51 to 60. I want to level Samurai or Ninja but wow that is crazy slow.

Yeah, things get really slow for that range in general though
the risk is that if you don't clear the duty in POTD it's a waste of time .
At this point it's better to queue for dung and meantime doing fate/hunt/daily tribe imho.
I'll try to level my 55 ninjia but i'm stopped at floor 50 boss , so duty fail = no exp = wasted time
Slow EXP is better than no EXP. PoTD is the only way for DPS to have a shot at insta queue (unless they form a party with tank/healer). So for them, it's either do PoTD, or sit on their butt for 30 minutes waiting for a queue. Though, they can always do leves and sidequests for EXP while waiting.
Honestly, if the PoTD bosses are stopping your party then there's a problem.
As for leveling, spamming 51-60 is usually the best; less XP per run but much faster. The 60 boss is also a pushover if you have decent aetherpool.
I'm not so lucky so...5 times all dps party and wipe![]()
This, you get less XP per run but optimally speaking the returns will be far greater given how quickly you can clear that floor with a decent aetherpool. Going from 1-50 isn't optimal unless you're attempting to increase your aetherpool either as each subsequent level takes longer and longer to complete. Basically if you have an aetherpool of +40 or better, stick to 51-60 - and if you can't meet that then grind till your aetherpool is decent enough and then put your nose to the grindstone. It's boring, but effective.
Seems like you need to call some experts
Also iv adapted the uncanny ability to turn off my brain while grinding PotD I suggest all practice this, you wake up hours later and you're lvl 60 on that classes you wanted to be.
"What are bones?" -My DRG dps friend.
"I live you, end you." -My PLD off-tank friend.
*Horrendous Tidus Laugh* -My AST friend.
"OH NOT THE AKH MOURN" -My BLM friend.
^ this. Over time you'll get so used to using your pomanders well and killing trash that you'll be able to phone it in and still do well.
