    Kefka and Sephiroth strike me as the "Oh shit we're running out of money quick we need more subs now" emergency buttons.
    Kefka himself would work better as a four "Boss" raid where each "Boss" is a different tier based on the final confrontation in FFVI. Besides, if any villain would be fun in a more lasting capacity, it's be Kefka "Clean the sand off my boots" Palazzo.

    That out of the way, Exdeath didn't actually die. He got sucked into the void just like in FFV, because Omega thought opening a void portal within his simulation was a good idea. So Neo Exdeath may be a distinct possibility.
