That's not what I took up the sword&shield for. I am not a DPS. Stop trying to make me one.
When I am leveling a DPS class I hate when I get the slow and deliberate tanks that don't push the pace or DPS. As a tank main I know how fast things can be done and when you're running a dungeon for the 1000th time (anima weapons, leveling alts, grinding tomes) I don't have the patience for a 35m dungeon.

A good tank can keep it in the 15-20m range.
