Trouble completing Ixal quests.

Two days in a row, I have this problem. I accepted a level 10 Ixal quest Reach for the Starboard which requests 4 high quality Starboard Wing Components. Using a level 39 Goldsmith, I cannot produce the high quality item, because the quest item consistently breaks. I have not had this issue with any other Ixal quest. If I manage to create one hq item without breakage, I must then speak with Hildeyerd each consecutive time I wish to make another of the quest items requested (four in total), otherwise the allotted time to craft the quest items (four minutes) expires. If the time expires while I am crafting the quest item, the crafting is abruptly canceled and the quest item is REMOVED from my inventory. Therefore, if I intend to complete this request, I must abandon the quest and restart, using an additional beast tribe quest allowance.

Needless to say, this is incredibly frustrating. A level 39 Goldsmith should be able to produce a level 10 hq item, especially since I have no difficulty producing hq items outside of the quest. What makes this quest item, Starboard Wing Component, so difficult to craft? Additionally, stealing the quest item from me while I am crafting it simply because the time has expired feels very unfair. Please consider giving more than four minutes for these items to be crafted. I feel it is unreasonably cumbersome to initiate another dialogue with the NPC each time I craft an item, just to reset the timer. I will not initiate this quest "Reach for the Starboard" from now on.

Well don't abandon the quest after each attempt. Just talk to the NPC who gave you the buff (he has a mark over his/her head) and they will refresh the buff and restock the raw material you need.

You should still have the completed items for turnin in your bags if the timer expires during the craft, just not the one you are working on.

What cross skills / rotation are you using? Waste not from lvl 15 LW and Hasty Touch from CUL are godsends if you are having trouble completing crafts.

Because when the timer runs out, the quest item is removed from my inventory and I will then not have enough to turn in, I have to abandon the quest and restart it, that's the problem.
