    How to make hunts fun again - "CD-timer/trigger" [Suggestion]

    Hey there,

    there are some issues at the moment with hunting, with the implementation of that extreme time-consuming mountachievement for hunting, a lot of players joined the hunt.
    My next suggestions will focus that "real hunters" are having an easier time getting the rewards they deserve from a hunt, instead of improving the situation for players who are technically purely leeching hunt mobs from hunting linkhells.


    Problems

    • On populated big server something happens which players are referring to "early pull", due to the level of the old hunts, it is very easy to solo them in like 30s+. Players don't need to organize a group so they don't wait anymore for others.
    • Most S hunt targets have a cooldown between 1 and 3 days, if any server maintenance happens we can't hunt them more than once in a week.
    • The difficulty of spawning a S mark in the old areas is as difficult as it was ever. It can take several hours trying to spawn it with no actual spawn in the end. The rewards of the old S are not even worth it so much anymore.
    • We don't know if a hunt mark is dead or still alive in the current window. A lot of the old hunt mobs in arr and heavensward are not very often updated on external sites which help us track this information.
    • People are complaining about the mentioned achievement in the forums, because the requirements for it can only be met if you hunt for several years all S mobs on your server.



    First of all I want to mention, I don't want a system that prevents me from killing the hunt mob. I don't want them to be stronger either, it would be unfair to new players and players who haven't bought the addons yet, they would have to skip hunting until the max. level.

    If you actively hunt, you will never be too late at a hunt mark, only if you depend on linkshells.


    When I hunt, I want to have fun hunting, I want that my invested time pays off and that I am not trying to catch something what is impossible atm. I want to make a hunt group with friends and kill hunts, it is a very simple concept.

    Solutions

    • Reduce the respawn times for old A and old S mobs. Likewise, increase the S mobs trigger chance in old ARR and heavensward areas.
      (If you can hunt efficiently yourself, you decrease the relevance of hunt linkshells, early pulls that happen are more forgiving)
    • Give us information about a hunt target at the hunt NPC which are in each area. Tell us when the next window for this hunt will be open again. There is nothing more demotivating than to hunt dead hunts. This will make hunts playstation friendly, you don't have to access external sites for tracking anymore.
    • In the end this will turn the very difficult achievement in something obtainable even people with a real life can go for, they can just become active on their own and create partys and have fun.

    It would even be okay for me if the old hunts would give less rewards, if they only spawned more often.

    The proposed changes are very easy to perform from a programming side of view. The developers don't need to create a totally new system(which sadly is demanded very often and just cuts into the resources a team has) , they can just take the existing numbers and change them with lower ones... Small changes with big effect for low cost...
