His weather is Quicklevin, it is a take over sort of thing like Odin. You cannot track it. Normal weather holds no key such as thunderstorms. He can spawn after clear skies or any weather.

Now that we're down to one instance what are the chances of increasing his pop time? Or making it something like fox lady where certain fates spawn him? I've been out here all day and nothing.

Not saying it needs to pop every three hours but this whole one spawn every three days and only 1 instance thing is gonna be hell

server resets, as maintenances, reset its spawn timer. It should pop today and atleast on odin it respawned 42-56 hours post kill every time (except the server crashed, than its ~24 hour like after maint)

knowing this doesnt make it really hard to keep track of it and beeing on the map at the right time

I run an Ixion LS & Discord (Diabolos) We have collected data on Ixion in hopes to find out better spawn windows and such. Some general info about Ixion. Regular weather such as thunderstorms doesn't matter. Only worry about Quicklevin. The sky will be purple, specs will be in the air. It looks very different and you will know when you see it. As of right now, during the three instances it was suggested his cool down is as short as 24 hours, and his spawn can take up to 72 hours within his window. Without giving data on him with instances I'll just start with July 6th the day of main. He spawned 6:19pm central time. Maint ended at 11:55pm July 6th(after his spawn, thus starting a 24 cool down which we are assuming right now). It took him 53hrs and 40min to spawn. His spawn time was 5:35am central, July 9th (this morning). We are still gathering data but this is what we have so far concerning ONE INSTANCE. Thanks everyone. (Corrected actual spawn window time)

My concern here with Ixion is a couple of things. Ive seen people depriving themselves of sleep trying not to just miss it pop one time.

Also and this is the MASSIVE one: People can not zone in Lochs to do their story because people are here camping. I feel truly bad for the new people. Ive had to raise people because they died and can not return to the hp because it is too full. Perhaps it shouldn't be limited to just one zone or something like Odin. This Ixion idea needs to be rethought by SE.

This this this. The instance lockout is horrible. I mean, you have those who are obviously very much interested in taking part, but can't because by the time the information has gone public you missed your chance to even get into the zone. And of course, people just going about their MSQ or gathering business or whatever. Now, of course, the restriction on the zones exist for a reason, but ever since the 3-instance setup went (and even before then it was shaky) it's been impossible to get into the zone beforehand because of the fanatical camping. Is there a solution? Time...I'd like to think people won't bother once they get the mount. But interest in this event won't wane for a very long time. I don't know...it's just incredibly frustrating. Make its spawn less predictable so people don't lock out the place in advance. #unlockthelochs

Make his spawn more unpredictable? I'd think that would make the situation worse. Once people get their mount they will move on. Make it more unpredictable, the more camping people will do.

What's embarrassing is we never saw this with Courelregina, or Ultima. I don't know how this happened with Ixion.

Probably because they were merely glamour pieces with.... niche tastes to say the least. Ixion is not only a mount, but also requires multiple kills for that mount. it's alot more... tangible? Is that the word? Mounts are alot more valuable to people than glamours.

The same thing is sorta happening with Fox Lady even now, too. You get everything with 1 gold, and that gold gets you a glamour piece, a minion, and 2 duplicate tabletop furnishings. I don't usually see Fox Lady callouts or outcry over it. Imagine if the Fox Lady FATE also had a whistle for the boss for 70 fragments or something. hoo boy!
