And here it is I thought expansions where fun silly me

I just have to say that yes I do enjoy the expansion Im loving the story so far and making my own progress in the game. But I feel like SE missed the mark, not everyone has a friend that is pretty much an extension of themselves. What I mean by that is that some people actually level together run nearly every instance together with their tank or healer friend.

The process of leveling a dps right now is ridiculous if u relied on duty roulettes. If you are hard queuing u literally need an hour for leveling, trail, msq, and 50/60 roulettes basically you need about four to five hours set aside just to do the basic functions of the game. I feel that SE highly underestimated the amount of people who would change to dps or they just didnt care. The game basically forces u to pvp for leveling and guess what that also got a nerf according to what Ive read on the forums. So seriously what do you want are expect us to do, do you want people to enjoy your game at all or do you just want them to feel like they have to do things just to do basic leveling content. I feel as tho with adding two new dps you should have created other means to level dps, or given dps more exp from msq. Its so bad that I have a level 70 tank already with only one sb dungeon unlocked and Im on level 62 msq.

Its bad game design to expect everyone to just jump in pvp and just get excited about it just because it gives good exp. Its bad game design that you literally are forcing players to beg their fellow tanks or healers just to get in a dungeon. Why not be more inventive why not give dps a better way to level if that's the main job everyone wants to play. And hey maybe some people actually have to level in dungeons I dont know maybe to actually learn how to play their jobs, the way pvp is set up now you dont even have half ur skills in pvp so while im getting that exp Im also not even learning how to maximize the two new dps you guys created. I must say this is probably the worse time Ive had in this entire game I had alot more fun when ques where reasonable and I didn't have to beg someone just to run a freaking dungeon with me because the process didnt take a whole hour worth of time. Im just very disappointed and feel as tho while the expansion is good , you have made leveling a dps feel more like a job than fun and thats not cool

A lack of tanks and healers is a problem in every MMO in history, and most MMOs do make you play dungeon content to continue the plot. Adding 2 new DPS classes wasn't a great idea - especially because I know for a fact quite a few Dark Knights only rolled dark knight because they wanted an epic sword, and Samurai is the new sword hotness and god-tier DPS class to boot; but even if they'd added a new tank and healer role DPS queues are always going to be bad, simply because most players don't like the responsibility or playstyle that comes with those roles.

I think most of your post is pretty on the nose but--
In HW DPS were 'in need' on the roulette a few times. Even if it was temporary, it did cut DPS queues a lot for a time. That said, I can understand if adding 3 new jobs each expac isn't sustainable... SE did a least make pvp give tons of experience (Erm... less as of this morning's patch I think?), and there's PotD. Queues will still be bad for those one time mandatory dungeon run throughs but... outside of that, well, if you're leveling DPS don't do normal duties/roulettes, I think...

Of course, there's also the factor that SE alienated a good number of tanks/healers since their idea of class balance within a role is 'make one of them OP', among other issues...

Welcome to MMORPGs, please sit in the queue. Your local tank and healer will be with you shortly.
Seriously, it's like the DPS players never played any MMO ever. If you haven't, well, welcome to a classic MMO experience. Healing and tanking are very responsible jobs, and not everyone wants to do them (in fact, a very small number of people want to do them).

This is not new to MMOs.

During one of the WoW expansions I was actually selling instant queues in trade chat on my tank DK. Think it was Wrath. The random heroic dungeon dps queue was 45 mins minimum at the time.

Even with pvp maybe its me but its extremely boring to go into the same instance over and over again the same frozen tundra time after time. If your lucky you might get a change of landscape but that only happens prob every ten runs and again everyone doesn't like pvp. I enjoyed pvp when it was something that i would do every day in a roulette just so I could change things up a bit but spamming it isnt fun if you like to win. And the chances of you winning every pvp match just isnt even realistic. Accepting losing to me just to get exp is a really stupid concept and giives no feel of accomplishment at all.

And also you may get a healer every ten runs or so in a way pvp is worse than it ever was before, because before the expansion someone would actually change to healer so you could actually be competitive, now because people are there just for the exp your running with teams that pretty much are fail on site unless you get extremely lucky. Palace isn't that fun either but at least it had some form of variety to it , pvp is far worse and more brain dead than potd currently.

It's not just MMORPGs - it's "any" game with mandatory roles. If you queue up as mid/top in LoL (a MOBA) these days, you're also typically sitting in queue longer than if you queue as jungler/support (to the point they had to introduce an auto-fill feature...). And before they made queuing as roles a thing, you instead had people trying to shove the last pick into the unwanted role.

The issue is always the same: The game demands a certain ratio of roles, that ratio doesn't match the preferences of the community -> queues ensue for the popular and insta-queues happen for the unpopular.

I do pretty much agree with all of your post.

Although EXP for losing was just nerfed. But that kinda just makes it even worse on levelling DPS, especially in a 3 faction pvp where a balanced winrate would be 33%...

You don't have friends, members from your FC or something similar? If you are a DPS try to que with a healer or a tank.

I find doing the SB hunts every day while I wait for the queues(if no one in the FC wants to run things) is a decent way to spend the time, both for the EXP and Centurio Seals to get grade 6 material. Same with doing beast tribe quests.
There is always something you can do while waiting for a queue to pop, even when you finish all the daily things you can do, there is always the FATEs.
