    [dev] Job Specific Gear, be creative please.

    Dev team, this is my plea. When 1.21 comes out and you release the much anticipated job specific gear a lot of us have been wanting for quite some time now, please avoid mistakes of the past.

    When I read form the most recent letter from the producer;

    "(Job-specific weapons are lined up for after 1.21, and we’re making sure getting them will entail a bit of difficulty! )"

    I am stuck thinking that perhaps this might turn into another age old "hunt the NM, get the key, open the coffer, get wrong item...repeat." this is neither fun nor difficult, it's random and tedious.

    I think what a majority of the player base would love to see is an engaging series of quests that are both fun and difficult. Where all aspects of our game playing skills are put to the test. Problem solving, team work, battle prowess. Perhaps a quest that can be done with out Path Companions and a few friends? Perhaps something that will engage us on a whole different level?

    Coffer key hunts have been the way of things since 11 and in my own personal experiences I find them to be extremely frustrating. As a player I want an engaging, fun and difficult challenge that at the end I will be rewarded with a guaranteed chance at the item I seek.

    We are not asking for a cake walk, just something with substance.

    Those of us with less play time than others are often not able to spend the amount of time required to get the items we want in the traditional coffer key hunt system.

    I hope this letter reaches your desks.
