Recently had a conversation in the Novice Network. Someone asked if the new mount drops in 'Ala Mhigo'. Normally we have players avoiding MSQ terms, and before this players 5-6 veterans had come online asking 'Does the final MSQ dungeon drop the mount?'.

Do people find it a spoiler to name drop the final dungeon? IMO it's not hard to 'cover it' or any MSQ event while still getting your point across.

Spoiler seems to be for mostly 2 storyline or huge event or happening in relation to characters and story and so on. I suppose revealing the name of the dungeon can be a spoiler but it'd be pretty weak one at that

It could, but that is why I use terms like "The level 57 dungeon" or such for the time being.

Depends on the person. I know in my FC we all agreed(kind of an unspoken thing) to try to refer to the dungeons/trials as "dungeon X" where X is just the number in the order you unlock it in the expansion.

So Ala Mhigo would be referred to as "dungeon 5" or "final story dungeon".

I think dungeon names are visible on the map with the blue dungeon icon, even if you haven't explored the area. So I wouldn't really consider the names to be spoilers.

I could be wrong, but I don't believe Ala Mhigo is on the map as a dungeon.

Except in the case of Ala Mhigo, the dungeon icon is hidden until you unlock it in the MSQ. So even the devs consider it enough of a significant spoiler to not show that it's a dungeon until you reach it.

I always say level x or xth primal or the name of the arena. I mean Emanation tells you nothing.

I wouldn't really count it as a spoiler per se, but I'd still suggest avoiding the name if at all possible since knowing the timing of dungeons can hint at the structure and order of events. However, as a quick look at the map will tell you that the inaccessible portions of the Fringes and the Peaks are higher level areas, it's not as though it's unforeseeable that we returned to Ala Mhigo later in the campaign, so I wouldn't consider it a huge deal if someone did use the name.

I think Ala Mhigo is a spoiler, but at the same time I can not blame the players for mentioning this. SE is at fault here, they could have given the dungeon a different name. The same could also be said for Doma Castle, there could have been a different name for it.

An example is the Primal trials, instead of Ifrit, its called: The Bowl of Embers.
