Try this patch on for sizeThis is when ironworks crafting/gathering gear was added.

Make sure to click "View Items" in blue before you vomit. OP has legitimate claim but OP is misplacing discontent because patch notes and FULL RELEASE patch notes are different. FR always follows later.

But when you look at this one:
But you did blow my theory out of the water that it is based on consistency.New recipes have been added.
* Due to the volume of recipes added with the release of patch 4.0, they will not be listed in the patch notes.
White Mage ~ Scholar ~ PaladinBoi if you got kicked for the same thing in over 20 duties I strongly suggest you think hard on whatever the hell it is you're doing
As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.
That's a good point. But for 10 extra levels of battle + crafting + gathering items, would you really want more vomit inducing Demon Walls of text? That list was just master recipes alone basically. It's incredible; I also support the argument that being too specific with expansion content is spoilery and reduces self discovery. Maybe a full release expansion patch might be the best of both worlds if done at a later date.
While I am sure most of us would appreciate even more detailed patch notes than we currently get, one thing to keep in mind is that the patch notes for FFXIV are already far more detailed than those for most other MMOs.
In my experience it is quite unusual for patch notes to list individual pieces of gear.
