    Consolidating Warrior 4.0 Feedback Thread

    This is not an official post or anything but I saw on the healer forums that another player did a Scholar consolidating thread and it seems to be getting good conversations and actual feedback from players about the job.

    I don't intend this to be a debate on which tank got the bigger muscles or who got screwed the most or a whining thread. I would like this thread to be intended for actual feedback. It seems like another player already started a DRK feedback thread and I suggest a PLD player start one as well cause SE does seem to want our input.

    I encourage you warriors who have ideas, input or suggestions to go ahead and place them here and hopefully the development team will listen to some of this feedback.

    -Get rid of stance dance penalty, its awful gameplay wise.
    -Separate Unchained from Inner Release, makes no sense.
    -Reduce Inner Release CD to 60 seconds
    -Raise Storm's Path potency to 280 like Butcher's Block
    -Allow to cast Infuriate outside combat
    -Rework completely Shake it Off.
    -Remove Onslaught Beast Gauge cost

    Noooohohoho. 6 fell cleave+berserk every minute would be absurd. The amount of dps increase this would give is way too high. On top of the fact that this also buffs the cd of Infuriate leaving to even more fell cleaves through the remaining minute and further increases the dps of war. War is far from 2.0 level of terrible but this kind of dps increase would just shove warrior right back into must have OT status and that's not something anyone actually wants.

    1. Apply a static cost for stance switching or get rid of the penalty to give WAR some desperately needed flexibilty.

    2. Split Unchained and Inner Release to make Unchained usable again (or buff the crap out of it).

    3. Do something with Shake It Off ... I don't know ... replace it with Mercy Stroke or Foresight. I really don't know what this skill was supposed to do.

    These changes wouldn't really bring up WAR in terms of balance (compared to PLD), but they would at least increase the playability.

    Reduce stance penalty.
    Move Inner Release status nullifications to Shake It Off.
    Infuriate outside of battle.
    Buff all skill potencies by 10-20 and gauge moves by more.
    Or...
    Give us utility on par with PLD.

    This post will have more then a few similarity to a post above, however I do feel it makes sense for more people to post opinions even if they are similar to someone else as a way to show SE that more then one person may find some aspects of the job troubling.
    - Remove stance dance penalty, we do not gain our "mitigation" by simply changing to tank stance and we have a lot of skills that depend on this resource. Unlike what SE said they wanted, this penalty makes the job more complicated not less complicated to play.
    - Remove Shake if off and give us something else. This skill should never have made it past being mentioned once in a meeting. Bad on the paper, useless in the game. The only thing I want to know about this skill is why SE thought it was good enough to make it into the game as a lvl68 skill.
    - Onslaught need to either cost 0 beast gauge or have a potency of at least 200. The current cost VS gain make the skill one I personally never use, I mean why use that skill when we can pop sprint?
    - Inner release and unchained should not share a reset timer. Both skill have a recast of 2min making this a way to punishing recast sharing. Now I might be wrong but I think WAR is the only job who has a lvl70 skill that makes an existing and prior to this great skill useless simply by them sharing a recast time.
    - Have BB give 20 beast gauge.
    - Increase the total combo potency of path to a point where it equals the potency of BB, perhaps even have it sit at 10-20 more then BB.
    - To ease tp consumption for low level WAR during dungeons give us a skill that halve the tp cost of overpower for 10sec with a 60sec recast.

    Beside what the other posters posted above. Can I have Bloodbath back or similar effect, if not for anything else but just the fun factor?

    If WAR bring next to no party utility then why are our potency still so low?

    Beast Gauge, please if you are going to reduce it, don't reduce it by percentile. What use do I have for left over beast Gauge, in other word we are losing more than 50% here.

    WAR play style of high risk high reward is gone, this class is boring now. WAR new abilities really need rework entirely the such of Shake it Off.

    Yoshida san, pressing the same button over and over for the same attack (Fell Cleave) is not fun, it's lame just like how the same joke is said over and over, it gets old very fast. At least in 3.x we have to weave in some abilities to get the required stacks to fit in a 3rd Fell Cleave within a Berserk.

    WAR was dub the offensive tank, the harder we hit the harder it is to kill us, how are we supposed to achieve that now that you took away our HP sustain ability such us Bloodbath and Mercy Stroke?

    Also for QoL, can we set WAR aura effect tobe able to turn off or hide, I don't want the be the obnoxious player to others if I want to keep my Beast Gauge.

    Give us bloodbath and mercy stroke back. Make changing stances less of a headache or make gameplay fluid like it was in 3.0.

    Warriors need an identity- we're no longer the sustain tank or the dps tank, so where does that leave us? The "self-esuna" tank?
