No one can help that they know how to handle things like marks over their heads, telegraphs on the ground, goo on the floor.
I think that telegraphing too much about what an attack will do is proving to be a weakness right now, I mean let's be realistic, this new fights had more mechanics than any of the first tier of precedents raids, but they used mostly mechanics we already understand and as such we do not feel as challenged

I thought it was fine. This game is 97 percent casual, which I like, so what did you really expect. Oh, way to insult the user base in your post too tc.

I actually enjoyed the fights in the first tier of Omega, were they easy yeah they are pretty easy but i felt the fights were engaging and had some interesting aspects to them. I have been enjoying the throw backs to other games like the bosses from FF7 and now some of the bosses in FF5 showing up in this raid the final boss was a surprise to me and since i loved ff5 i greatly enjoyed seeing some of those bosses again. i was really happy to see Boko show up chocobo dungeon was a great game(I want him as a minion).

Musics a disappointment and the chocobo is rather annoying. Yes I know its all from other games but I wont be going to youtube to re listen to all the songs as much as I have done with Alexander. The gear makes sense and fans of For Honor will like'em for obvious reasons but I find'em uninteresting for a fantasy game.

I also find it funny how people got hot and bothered by the 3.55 title spoiling things. Yoshida later apologized while they did it again with the V4 minion.

    6/10
    (I haven't played many of the 2D ATTACK/MAGIC/ITEM games.)

Seems like the longer we get away from 1.0 lore, the more the game turns into "Generic Final Fantasy MMO" as opposed to a game with unique story and enemies.

You've played all the way upto 4.0 and not realized this is a fan service game?
FFXIV can be summed up as Final Fantasy: Greatest Hits Edition.

I have to disagree. I thought all the fights were really fun and some of the most imaginative stuff we've gotten. LEAGUES better than Gordias. Much more fun. Maybe not as fun as the third Alex tier, but I don't expect it to be just yet.

Its not at all what I expected, do I'm pleasantly surprised. I won't be doing Savage for a while, but I bet its gonna be really cool to watch the race for that when it is released.

Pretty sure the OP is not a Final Fantasy series veteran, or just never got to experience the glory that was FFV.

I, for one, say it's pretty freaking awesome! A step up from Alex. Feels like Coil again but better.

I really enjoyed Omega. When I heard the theme I was so happy. The bosses were great and I can't wait for savage and the next tier. I enjoyed FFV so seeing all the references was great.
