Are the crafter soul crystals worth it?

Hello, I was just wondering if the crafter soul crystals are worth it and do I still need to level all the crafting jobs for cross class skills if I go for the soul crystals or do I just focus on the jobs I plan to specialize in?

Ideally, I'd be doing Weaver, Alchemist, and Culinarian so I can make my own potions, food and glamour crystals for myself to keep me more self sufficient and less dependent on others.

It's worth it and yes you are not at your best unless you get the important cross class skill. While specialist alone provide you with good tools, combining it with cross class will make it far better.

Alrighty. Is there a particular level I need to get the other jobs up to or do I need to max them all out?

All crafts to 50 covers all the cross-class skills. Beyond that you can simply focus on the one you want to pursue, but most crafted items require materials from other crafts. Without the rest of the crafts leveled to process any materials you may need, you'll have to buy them from the MB.

How many men am I involved with? Well that depends... do you mean men as in males? Or just midlanders?

And GSM to 54 if you like arbitrarily long crafts for Maker's Mark, and/or CUL to 54 for Muscle Memory.

Level them all to 70. They all use items from each other. The only one that doesn't is cooking and that class makes the food you need so it's still worth it. 60+ is very, very easy leveling. They made it super fast. Once you get them to 60, you can essentially level them using entry level 60+ items. Plus all the quest stuff has made a glut of items on the MB so it's cheap. You can pick a HQ GC turn in for 3k.

The specialist buffs are so WONDERFUL now (omg, guys, can you believe those buffs?!) that you'll probably rotate just for them. They are actual decent buffs this time around (you pay 50 CP up front to use one of three talents whenever -- one gives 65 CP back, one gives 25 dura back, and the other gives 3 stacks of IQ) plus I think they randomly lower CP costs. Anyway, it'll be nice to rotate specialties depending on the recipe and your ingredients, etc.
