heals cant direct, but attack spells can. i can see dh melds being good but we'd need substat weight data to see if 13 melds of direct hit is worth it though

Hm you're right. I always thought you couldn't because I never have, but looking into it, the base DHR of 364 means you have a 0% to direct hit. You could meld 720 DH giving you 1,084 DH. Would be curious how good that would be compared to melding DET which would benefit heals and attacks. Or let alone Crit. I was able to put Crit on most of my gear. I actually want to put some DH in at least one piece because I bet having some % chance to DH is better than none.
