There's a previous thread about healer melds right under yours: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...put-in-my-gear
For scholars crit is usually a given for those crit adlos. Been that way since 2.0
Beyond that guessing it is a combo of piety and det
Why the hell would you meld piety ? The gear gives us way enough of it already. Go for Direct hit so you can maximize your dps, or Det if you're not totally sure about DH
Honestly with the increased cost of adlo and the decreased potency of critical hits, compiled with the loss of fairy crits giving us a buff to spspd we may need to reevaluate whats bis for scholar its not like were fishing for critlos anymore sure its still probably best just due to the nature of the stat but its definitely lost a lot of the draw it once had.
Adlo and succor weren't skills that we were supposed to spam anyway. Also you do have a co healer. You just won't help him as much asbefore, because of this insane cost ( i agree this wasn't justified), but instead you'll focus on dps and situational help ( exco, fairy...).
And piety materias won't help you spam Adlo anyway.

Well, if you're fine with scholar being a 2nd rate healer, thats your business. But I prefer to main heal with it, as it is, you know, a healer job. And it used to be quite possible. Sure, some fights were a little harder than others, depending on aoe healing requirements, but careful use of eye4eye, sacred soil, and fey covenant, and good timing on whispering dawn, made it possible to fill that role. (even to solo heal A12s, which required a significant amount of group healing). As it is now, that is not even possible.
The key design change was that scholar was the least efficient healer, but that was offset by having superior mp recovery. Now, we have even less efficient heals, and even worse mp recovery. This is while both whm and ast saw increases in their ability to heal, and more importantly, mitigate incoming damage. Now its at the point where the potential healing of astro and whm is about twice that of scholar, and the mitigation tools that sch does have, don't even come close to making up that difference. I honestly don't think SE has anyone that plays scholar, they just had a brainstorming session to come up with ways to nerf it, and they came up with a dozen suggestions, and implemented all of them, without any consideration of how they would multiplicatively affect each other.
tldr> sch healing is broken, and needs an emergency fix. unfortunately, SE wont notice until people stop playing it.
Prioritize Crit and Det. We always need the Crit due to shields, and we need the Det to bring up our healing. Looking at the current i320 Omega gear, we're going to need a lot of Savage Might VI to bring up the Det, because the gear is mostly providing Crit, SS, and Piety. It's bad enough to where doing the math, our DET will be under 1K, not a good place for it to be at.
Ok thanks you ! Because for the moment i maximize crit but i dont see the difference in fight :/
