It's more than 24 hours now and still not a word from the support team.
I tried on live chat, but that person had absolutely no interest in helping me out with this not completely unknown problem.

What was his answer? or no answer at all?
She copy&pasted a whole lot of text about network settings, told me to delete config files and when I told her that it's still working with other characters on the same server and about other people having the same issues, she said something like ...If you don't want to give my solution a try, head to the forums and report your bug.
So pretty much useless...
