Made sense to me, I mean people are wearing 270 str accessories so that must mean they're worried about having too much HP.So yeah in the end, HP Inflation as a statement made zero sense. Every new set of gear increases our health, and we have no choices around that. So what exactly is being inflated and why would having vit contribute to AP cause it to inflate more? You cant use slaying pieces, so melding vit is basically non existent.
lol I like that. "Why are you wearing 270 str acc?"......"Because I'm trying to help S/E curb the rampant Vit inflation. If your wearing Vit, then your an exploiter." Hahaha
The way I interpret it, they want the vit/str change so that they can more easily scale tank hp and damage individually in the future, not necessarily because there is HP inflation right now; that's just an example. The change makes sense from a development point of view. If only they had just put some strength on tank gear to make up for lost vit scaling we wouldn't have needed to complain about this.

This.
The 'hp inflation' refers to HW, because in devs opinion we already had too much VIT at the end of HW. They couldn't lessen the gain of VIT on tanks gear at higher ilvls because that would've also meant to lower their damage gain.
If SE wants damage to increase faster than HP they can't tie it to the same stat.
Sry, all this 'hp inflation? lawl, se scubs' baffles me, because aaparently most people don't understand half of what Yoshi said.
It makes obvious sense for attack power and maximum HP to be separate from a balance point of view. They should've just left it at that. Stating HP inflation as a cause is obscuring they fact THEY are the ones that put vitality on the gear, hence why we have so much HP. As in, we are going to have the same HP whether attack power scales with vit or str because it's already on the gear they designed. (well, except for people not wearing proper accessories, hence my comment above)^
