Shirogane Housing

How is housing gonna work with Shirogane? I heard that they will be doing a transfer service, but how will that work? Is it gonna be simply transferring the deed from one district to Shirogane or will you have to buy the land 1st? If you have to buy the land, then it seems pointless to add a transfer service.

You have to buy the land again.

From what they've said it suggests that when you buy it, where you normally get the options for "buy as private", "buy for FC", you'll have an option to transfer FC (assuming you have FC permissons to do so).

It's simply automating relinquishment/transfer of the FC so you keep your workshop/airship progress and the private rooms and you don't risk being stuck with no house at all.

Hmmm.....think I would rather chance selling my current private house, then buy a new one in Shirogane instead of transfer. Unless you get back a portion of the original price for the 1st place, you end up losing money. Thanks for the information. Also, Tsubaki I like the signature pic you have, where did you get it done at?

No, but it's just less of an impact on personal housing if it's not available.

Although my opinion is that it should be available regardless, just so players don't need to go to the trouble of relinquishing and gathering all their stuff to buy a new plot, and risk losing that opportunity if someone still gets there ahead, and further risks not having the original plot to return to.
