SMN - Most Glaring Issues

I just want my Sustain back. It's hurting solo play at lower levels, physick can barely make a dent.

I'm posting this in both the SMN and SCH threads because it affects both (and also affects ACN, obviously. The lack of a good pet heal is noticeable even before level 30....)

Hi, I'm a career savage-raid summoner. I've been a summoner since my first day of playing (the PS4 release). With Yoshi-P's recent forum post about the state of job changes coming in patches 4.01 and 4.05, I wanted to post what I see are the most glaring issues with 4.0 SMN in the hopes that the devs see them and consider making some necessary changes.

I feel like there is also something I should make you aware off.

Ahk Morn is a false 680 potency. Playing with Red Mage I noticed that my own Verflare which is 550 potency outdamage my Ahk Morns on my summoner at the same Ilvl with the same gear.

Comparing Foul 650 potency to Ahk Morn's 680 potency, you will find that the average Ahk Morn hits for around 10k and the average Foul is around 15k.

Can't Ahk morn more then every two minutes, and it isn't even 680 potency.
Foul despite being 30 potency less supposedly does much more damage, and has a quarter of the cooldown time.

Even more - wyrmwave despite having 160 potency does less damage than ruin3 - like 2.7k vs 3.5k
Which shouldn't be really a surprise. We knew that pet hits something around 80% of its potency. No idea why... Does square even know about that lol? If yes then why pets are made that way? It's dumb. Also like almost everything around SMN job design feels like a huge facepalm to me...

It's 680 potency, but scaled off of Bahamut's stats, which I think mirror Garuda's / Ifrit's.

Except that normal Enkindle is scaled to our stats. Ahk Morn realistically is more around 540 potency.

I wouldn't follow FFlogs as that data was pulled 2 weeks ago when I was learning rotations and understanding the fight to pull rotation. I only cleared Lak on the same day that I was in a clear group.

Now I'm pulling 3800k on lak and a bit more with Sudanex without pots or food as I understand the fights and I know when to use CDS. Never look into logs unless you actually know who you talking to as many of us don't use Logs.

I think your numbers are exaggerated. if you were pulling 3800 dps you would be in the top 20 of summoners worldwide.

Lol that guy at first wrote something around 3300-3400 and then edited to 3800. And person whom he's answering to is in top 5 nobalance dps on lakshimi-susano...

Thats the problem after all - people just see numbers but won't take a 2nd thought how this numbers where built.
