I found this whilst perusing the BF3 forums today, tried it out for FF14 and it works! It is a new type of Anti-Aliasing(Smooths jagged edges) called Subpixel Morphological Antialiasing when applied to FF14 it removes a LOT of the shimmering you see on objects whilst moving and makes everything smooth without a noticeable performance drop at high!
I don't care about the legality of this so please don't clutter the thread on whether you think it is right to use it or not, all i know is it makes the game look tons better and i can't see a performance hit. Below are comparison shots, the download link and some instructions.

How to install:
- Download files from link above
- As FF14 is a DX9 game copy the files from the folder "d3d9" to your FF14 Installation folder(Mine is: C:\Program Files (x86)\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XIV)
- Make sure all other AA is turned off(Game/CCC/Nvidia CP)
- Run the game!
