Different Glamours for Different Jobs

It would be nice if we could have multiple glamours on the same item that change according to which job we currently are. For instance, any casting gear I get is going to be used for my BLM, RDM, and SMN jobs, but I'd like to be able to look differently when I'm playing each of them without needing to get repeat pieces of gear. I think this would be a good thing to add into the game.

I agree! I want to look RDMy on Rdm but not same on my BLM
Or I want a look on my AST but not on my WHM etc

Definitely something I'd love to have in this game. Actually I was searching for the suggestion section in this forum to post this when I realized you already did.
I think as job set keeps growing this makes more and more sense.

I don't want my MNK and SAM to look the same, neither by WAR, PLD and DRK... etc.
I like to play with every job but it is quite sad to have to decide on a specific look for all the jobs instead of being able to make them look different.

It's really frustrating for tanks and healers and other jobs with shared gear. I feel like it's reasonable to want my 3 tanks to have different glams w/o compromising ilevel or stats. Before SB, my WAR and DRK shared a glam bc their best stats are more similar to each other than PLD, but to do this, I had to mix and match 270 and 260 gear to what I wanted for each instead of just having the best gear for all three. PLD is my main but I loved playing (pre-SB) WAR, it was fun, but I don't want to compromise stats for glams. I know my two healer friends were suffering the same dilemma. Some people have mentioned the possibility of relic armour, but that will only last until something better comes out.

I don't remember the nuance, but apparently FFXI had a really nice glamour system. If I recall correctly, I was told its something like you saved the glamour itself and just put it on whatever you have, instead of each piece of gear needing to be glammed?

So many jobs have these beautiful artifact sets limited to just their job, but are easily deemed irrelevant the minute higher tome/raid/crafted gear is released. I want to continue using the pieces of glamour, but I can't do that when my healers all have to share gear, or my tanks all share gear, and rather than use that beautiful AST AF3 set, I have to settle for a glamour that projects onto all 3.

Same for BRD and MCH. I want my BRD to have her AF glamour for quite a while. But once I get MCH to 70, I'll have to change it. And with the other DPS jobs as well (save for DRG and NIN).
