I honestly advise you to not go that way.
If you do not want social interaction in an MMO, set yourself to busy.
If that's not enough, playing an MMO really isnt what you should be doing.

Also, coming up with stuff like you just did does not make anyone here want to help you - it makes everyone just think you are attention seeking.

Not the thread per se is attention seeking. Saying things like

I've had... issues with guilds in the past, particularly PSO2 and let's just say it was quite... traumatic. I abhor guilds to the point of irrationality and I don't want to be associated with anything that has to do with a guild, free company, team, whatever each mmo calls it. Imo, all guilds eventually turn to cancer and I would rather avoid it entirely, yes even to the point where I won't even make a solo one. Even with a solo one you still need people to start it and I don't even want to go that far. Your condescending attitude is one reason why I don't associate with guilds because of people like you. I also don't talk to people in game except for my BFF and ignore everything else because of people like you who have no regards for human dignity. My BFF understands my aversion (he saw first hand the... issues I had and totally understands my revulsion to guilds so he doesn't bug me about it).

You would think a game like FFXIV would have an option to block guild invites. Black Desert has one so kind of surprised by that FFXIV does not. Oh well, I'll just deal with it I guess, lel.

Anyways, i am not attacking you, just telling you how things look to us.
And i can only repeat myself. If something in an online game traumatized you, PLEASE talk to someone about it.

I know how it looks to you guys, and it upsets me because I don't know any other way to express myself so people will understand. Ugh, drama is already starting and all I was trying to do was explain myself why the suggestions people were giving me weren't a viable option for me... :/

Does anyone know how to contact a mod or admin so I can ask them to delete this thread? Thank you.

You don't have to explain yourself to anybody. Ignore the comments, there's a black list here on the forums, you could use. You could also report your own post if your posting level isn't high enough to delete your own post, under edit and then at the bottom, delete message. You can sadly not delete a whole topic, but my suggestion is, just let it die down. If you don't respond to the topic itself, or ignore people that post stuff, that has nothing to do with your actual message, trying to get you to response and then arguing about the way you responded, this topic will end up at the end of the forum very quickly lol. I wouldn't worry much about all that. You got the answer you were looking for, I hope you will have a easier/better time in game now that this is out of the way.
