Aether datacenter connectivity issues (July 3, 2017)

Have been able to narrow it down to being an issue with the datacenter's physical area, or the servers themselves. Connectivity issues are happening for players all across the US and beyond.

It is not just Aether. Primal is also having a lot of issues tonight . Lag / disconnects both in dungeons and in the world.

"DDoS" isn't a DDoS when it's your own customers all trying to login at the same time.

They say it's a "DDoS Attack" but it's not, it may actually be a DDoS but no one is attacking them, they're just using that for a BS excuse for their poor infrastructure and lack of planning for the amount of players accessing the servers.

DDoS = Dynamic/Distrubuted Denial of Service.

except its not? DDoS is Distributed Denial of Service. And a DDoS attack will do exactly this. if it was people hammering the servers cuz playing, then the weekend would have been broken. it wasn't.
