I dont see how people would want to pay for this patch tho? Yesterday I did ifrit again and its so slow. The system doesnt fit the current game.

Well, no - I actually have played 11 (only recently quit) since 2005 and have experienced the pacthes to pretty much all the jobs.
Of course jobs will get tweaked, that's not the point.
BLM however, being the nuker of FF games, has always been dealing pretty good damage (as long as it had MP and was able to keep hate away because BLM couldn't take many hits).
Yes, it has gotten fixes and there has been mobs implemented that were highly resistant to magic, but still BLM was able to deal a major amount of dmg in the limits of the MP.
I think the whole issue here is that it's being said that THM should be fixed because it has nukes that deals so much damage.
I say no it shouldn't (not for that reason) because once I have went all out with my nukes I will have 100 MP left and I have to idle in the background while you go and catch up to my dmg with your melee attacks. Or in another scenario, I have nuked so hard that I have indeed pulled hate on me and I am laying face down on the grass because my robe won't exactly be able to save me from inevitable death.
Tweak THM (or BLM in the future) as much as you want but one thing I am pretty sure is that there will always be a mage that will deal a huge amount of dmg in a short amount of time and then juggle between conserving MP, controlling the mobs (sleep) and trying to not pull hate. Otherwise there is no point for a nuker...
There is a little Monkey in all of us....
