So, I finally get my internet back over the weekend to come online to what seems to be an almost empty game. Now I know it's close to the holidays and everyone is prepping up for those coming events, but realistically one can play this game while laying down, which I myself do at times. New patch and apparently population dropped to a low that hasn't been witnessed since before 1.19. I'm not a an expert but I would say that's definitely not good for business.

The first issue I'd like to address is the damage output on a DD class.... Square Enix wtf.jpg? I have no idea why you would get rid of a good thing. Don't fix it if it isn't broken I believe is the term? Me personally on LNC went from an average 2.3-3k dps on Ifrit for instance to a whooping 1.4k... lolwut? Now I will give SE the benefit of a doubt and say they are prepping the what seem to be sub classes for the upcoming 1.21 when they are supposedly adding the what seem to be advanced classes. And who knows maybe the new fight system will be beneficial to those classes coming out and the combo system will create opportunities for more damage, more debuffs, and just an overall strong DD class, but as of now the system only seems to work for survive ability and just general fight control.

Another issue I'm having with this patch is the removal of certain abilities that just made sense in an MMO environment. First off are the DD WS animations. Certain animations (not to be bias) like Doomspike II (which was one of the reasons I picked up the class) were removed. Now again they could be brought back to the later patch, but why take it away if it gave the class that much more identity. A lot of the self buffs for multiple classes were also taken out like Defender and Storm's Path, which I'm really hoping was just to prepare the game for the new classes which would ultimately unlock most of those abilities or get something close to them.

Now I could go on but I believe if you read this post most of you (true gamers) will understand my despair. If you are coming out with better content for the new classes fine, if you aren't why take away what seemed to be the stepping stone to becoming a great MMO? I'm sure the game will develope as it goes along and all that mumbo jumbo, but like some people I like to live in the now, and I personaly don't understand why you would put a halt on releasing the newest classes along side of taking away the old classes identities in the process. SE why would you do that? People stopped playing the game, you guys are setting it up so that it isn't going to be a free to play game, and you're half assing the aesthetics of the game as well as watering down systems that weren't in my opinion broken.

SE should be adding and adding every other patch until the game becomes unbalanced, and I really hope I'm wrong about the direction this game is taking now, because I'm one of those people who came back to the game after 1.19 unaware of the changes and was shocked to see how good the game became during my absence.
