Still can't do anything ingame without getting immediately d/ced with a 90002 error. As a test, even though I never needed one before, I tried out a VPN service with a tunnel to Los Angeles and I was immediately able to play normally.
This to me just reinforces the fact that it feels like SE is actively refusing or blocking some types of connections from non-NA origins. Letting you through enough to make an initial connection and log in, but blocking you as soon as you start doing something that requires more connectivity/traffic and triggering some kind of policy to block/drop your connection.
Got on this morning and had constant disconnection issues for about an hour. Then played for a while - just started again, at most I manage to kill one mob (farming skins for leather) before I disconnect again. Seriously starting to wonder why I pay SE money if they can't keep the servers stable no matter from where I log in.
Adding my name to this connecting to an NA realm from EU and can't stay connected for more than a minute. Game is literally unplayable at the moment.
I think i found a fix for the problem on PC. I followed the fix for PS4 players and changed my DNS Server settings for 8.8.8.8 Preferencial and 8.8.4.4 as alternative. Was able to log in normally and make a panic run out of Quarrymill, but i wasnt able to make further testing due to time constraints.
Tried this and it worked, thanks so much for the linkhttp://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...-Temp-Solution

Just tried Omega instance again with these changes.I think i found a fix for the problem on PC. Doesn't work.
It doesn't fix it. I tried running a dungeon with the above setting but I dc'd again after beating the second boss. But to be fair, I was logged in for a longer period of time this way.I think i found a fix for the problem on PC. update:
I caved and used a VPN after a friend offered to let me use his account. Did one dungeon on it (Snowcloak again), and I can say it works. Another friend used the same VPN account (up to 5 instances can be used at any one time) and managed to finally get through the Omega solo instance.
While it's only a temp fix, I highly suggest PC players use a VPN for the time being until things improve.
