There are many times when using G-pose where I use an ability that looks cool but the effect is in the way of my character. Would there be a way to add a button to remove said effect to allow for more posing options?

In settings you find it, you can remove battle effects.
I'm tired. I didn't read that as g-pose at first. Came in to say wtf? Nvm.
If I'm reading Akaneakki's point correctly, it appears that you can remove the battle effect by manually going into your display settings and turning off Battle Effects. Which is great! But a little high-effort to apply each time you want to take a cool screenshot, sans glowy battle effects.
Would it be possible to add this as an innate feature in /gpose itself? It would be much easier to toggle the battle effects on and off as we so choose for the best possible screenshot!
ya he's right I feel dumb
you go to
Character configuration > Character > then you scroll down to battle effect settings
it would make a nice QOL change, even if its a thing in other sections ya
I get around this by panning really, really slowly when I'm taking the picture as camera movement removes the effect (on controller, at least). But yeah, a setting for it in the gpose screen would be lovely!
I would really like this feature too. It would be nice to have a checkbox in the Character Display Settings, within GPose itself, to turn off spell/battle effects. Just like how you can turn off your minion, hide yourself, hide pets, etc.
Might be better to allow the ability to set a keybind for the existing battle effects toggle
