Tired about talking about this stuff. Tried sam, and it's fun. But it's not the same. I'm just too heavily invested in war. If they don't substantially address warrior issues by 4.05, I'm just gonna take a long break until they do.

But, I don't think the issues are so bad that it can't be addressed. So I'm hopeful something good is in store for 4.05.

Been playing the Warrior borderline exclusively since the beta, it's seen some big changes in the past, but for now I'm just going to take a break because I really don't want to play Paladin again.

I leveled pld and dark to 60. Paladins are cool, but I never really got into it as a theme you know? Too righteous and all that. Plus I prefer big 2 handed weapons.

Thought I\\\\\\'d like dark cuz 2 handed swords are my favorite weapon type, but I just couldn\\\\\\'t get into the game play.

But then came Warrior and it was everything I hoped for in a tank. A tank that felt like a dps even if it wasn\\\\\\'t actually putting out dps level numbers. The self sustain was great, the moments of burst with fell cleave was awesome, being able to switch stances on the fly was fun, and the whole viking berserker theme really grew on me.

Warriors have some truly great animations too. Fell cleave, steel cyclone and upheaval are beautiful. Inner release is also beautiful. Heck, even worthless Shake it off looks great.

I really, really hope they bring wars back to a good place. I thought I\\\\\\\\\\\\'d dig samurai, and was even considering going dps full time with it. But I love tanking and I love war. I even love it\\\\\\\\\\\\'s cheesy 60 to 70 class quests lol.

If wars stay the way they are now, that might be just enough for me to call it quits. Ffxiv is a great game with many great aspects to it. The story, the pve stuff like raids, and pvp is cool. But I experience all of that through being a warrior. So yeah, anxiously waiting for the live letter next week and 4.05.

Agreed, Paladin just felt too boring to play in my experience. I got it to level 50 in the base game, before all the Warrior changes back then, but since then haven't really been bothered to touch it anymore. Dark Knight is cool I guess but I haven't spent any time on it - still in the level 30s.

Warrior is just a fun class to play, it's a shame they have no idea how to balance it properly. HW Warrior felt perfect to me. Also now that I think about it - I'm probably going to stop tanking and level a DPS class finally.

ed: Can't even use Bloodbath anymore. Crazy.
