And so the rest of you with your vast knowledge didn't ask if she had Diversion or recommend it? Y'know since RDM has a very front loaded opener?

Tbh, Diversion should be a given.
What will you take? Addle, Apoc, Lucid Dreaming and Erase should be obvious picks for any raid/high level content. They're all immediately useful for many situations (Apoc and Addle are life savers on Susano EX if your healers are sleeping- an apoc lets a tank take orbs so much easier, and Addling the triple aoe is also pretty good). What else will you take? Drain to heal 500HP on a job that can Vercure>Vercure with doublecast to heal itself? Break for the pitiful damage?
Diversion seems like an obvious choice, it shouldn't be needed to tell anyone that x)
(Not really aimed at you btw, just the situation in general- I just found it funny x) )

Due to how the abilities actually function, Lucid can't actually take the place of Diversion for the opener. The reason for this is that LD drops your current accumulated enmity by 50%, while Diversion is generally popped BEFORE abilities because it lowers the enmity you'll accumulate with said abilities. Accidentally rip hate? LD is great when you get to orange or red. Don't want to rip it in the first place? Diversion is a better choice.
you just seem to want pick up a fight huh? idk your provocations - my statement about the situation was just an argument that Rdm indeed has a over-the-top strong burst. nothing more nothing less, how to compensate/decrease enmity wasn't even the topic and won't change a thing. but well trying to defend Rdms op-ness is senseless everybody got it by now that their output compared to their effort is just to high. you can say what you want - this fact won't change.
