Disable inital cutscenes

Can there be an option to disable all cutscenes? I know you can disable them after you have already been threw a dungeon or what ever. The problem is that so many people have already been threw them, when you go threw for the first time you find yourself all alone because they have already moved on. Even trying to cancel the cutscenes takes time and you still find your self way behind at best. It’s not like you can select your own group or anything, but being able to disable the cutscenes so you never have to see them or get left behind would be a great benefit.

I disagree, Final Fantasy is story driven RPG. Cutscenes are a wonderful story telling device.
If they cannot wait for you to skip, you got stuck with a very bad group. I always watch the cutscene the first time through and rarely do players not wait for me. If they want to go on without me, well that is their loss.

Hence why I said “option” If you choose to do nothing but watch movies while the rest of the group leaves you at the entrance then fine. But not everyone is like that. I am sick and tired of trying to skip the cutscenes and getting left behind because of them. These groups also tend to skip the chests that can contain good upgrades for some people, but you will never see them because you are sitting back watching movies instead of following the group or are left behind because it takes to long to skip the cutscenes.
