    Id be ok with an FFXIV Anime. However based on the original WoL team. (Aka the Warriors of Darkness in 2.0) We could see how they went back to their world and made the change after Mother went with them with the light.

    Also reminder. Youtube has many great videos. Some of them anime like. However the one Ill love the most still is from FFXI and the Opera House of 6. (Speaking of that.. we need that opera house here in XIV....)

    It would be nice since I have pretty much skipped the entire story and cutscenes and would like to know why I am actually fighting for. Doesn't have to be an anime though maybe just a movie version.

    with so many crapy Netflix Animes, SE could easily get a decent studio and writer to make an FFXIV anime.., there is so much lore, many characters etc. that coukd be used...


    and way worse (or good) mmos/ rpgd have gotten animes.., a (way) more mature, but also long running anime like the Monster Hunter could push the FFXIV franchise and merchandise (besides pushing FF in general)

    If they want to expand the game's lore I'd rather they just do it through quests (Postmoogle, anyone?)
    I don't want it to get to the point where I need to watch a 25-episode series, a movie and read a bunch of books in order to keep up with the story.

    One thing I do wish they did was more cinematics, only getting one every 2 years or so for the start of every expansion makes me sad.

    Honestly given that I hate the story for this game 90% of the time due to it's nonsensical plot turns to keep the story railroaded in a certain direction, I really wouldn't welcome an anime based on the MSQ. If it was based off of a side story or character however, then I wouldn't be as adverse. Or the WoD like another person stated.
