    Summoner PvP in 4.0

    As bad as it seems after 4-5 matches or is there a trick to this?

    I understand how the abilities have changed for PvP, but, to try to take regular cast times for DoTs on a highly mobile/chaotic battlefield and still hope the single target is in range for Fester is silly (unless you only Bio I guess?). And when I manage it the target seems to not mind the damage. Would much rather have Bane than Fester, but oh well.

    It seems like I am trying to get close enough long enough to throw out the SMN damage skills but it takes me too close to the enemy and I have to be immobile for too long, at least for Frontlines.

    Any tips for actually getting kills/staying mobile with SMN? I am not seeing decent range for staying "back" to strike (at least in Frontlines) or big burst hits so what is a good style/approach? Is it better in the Feast?

    EDIT: Yes, definitely seem to work better in the Feast!

    EDIT 2: Much, much better in the Feast, getting good dps there. DoTs > Fester > Drain x 2 > Dread+Deathflare > Summon Bahamut + Enkindle, nice quick pops on Dread/Death and Summon/Enkindle.

    SMN is better now, you can actually do decent supporting damage without DWT now, you're also in DWT a lot more and bahamut is mega d33pz.
