Get rid of jumping puzzle in Kugane

It's one thing to make a game challenging. It's another to just be a jerk. And whoever thought it was a good idea to put that sightseeing point in Kugane at the other side of a ridiculous jumping puzzle is exactly that. A jerk.

I can't do it. I just cannot do it. I've been trying for nearly two hours, and near the top, I overshot a jump and fell all the way back down. I just don't think it's very fair to people who want to fill their sightseeing log up, because most people won't ever be able to do it.

So here's an idea. Maybe, in a future patch, give people who've leveled at least one job to 70 another way to get up there.

ARR was the best set of sightseeing logs. A challenge and something good to look at. HW lacked both of these things.
It's nice to have something to work for and not handed to you on a silver platter.

It's a SIGHTSEEING log. You know, you go and visit sights and log the experience in a little journal. Here let me give you an elevator to the top of a mountain to check out the view. Have not done the sightseeing logs myself, although i tried Kugane tower. I wouldn't expect that something based around unique or interesting locations and views to always be easy to access, otherwise they are not really unique and interesting views. Thats my opinion though.

I had more of a rush and more fun doing the jumping puzzle than doing the Ex trials. SE should keep it in, add more, and people should stop complaining about every little thing that takes a tiny amount of skill.

Posts like this are why this game keeps getting snorefests like Diadem.

It wouldn't be nearly as bad if the walkmesh's hitboxes weren't so odd and the engine had more graceful jumping.

Exactly. JPs can be really fun, and the best ones will frustrate you a bit, but lets not pretend that XIV has mastered the art of JPs. They have so many bizarre hit boxes and spots where you need to aim for empty air - that shouldn't be a thing.
