    Where would YOU like to see a jumping puzzle?

    As the title asked, where would you like to see a jumping puzzle. It can be in currently accessible content, or dream big with new content as well.

    Personally, I think the game needs a lot more jumping puzzles, but the ones I want most at the moment would be...

    1. Heaven on High (the tower at Onokoro). A jumping puzzle that takes you all the way to the top (if that's even possible)!

    2. Post MSQ, allow us access to the main area of Ala Mhigo, with no flight allowed. Add a jumping puzzle, taking us all around the city, inside, and outside of the palace, concluding at the end of the towers behind the city, looking out onto the platform where the final battle takes place.

    3. The giant statue in Rhalgr's Reach. Up to the hand where that cutscene is (saying more would be spoilers).

    4. Inside a new tunnel system that takes up to the deep interior of the Dawn Throne's bowl.

    Giving us some rewards for completing the puzzles would be nice, but the real reward is the journey and the view. Some people might like some sort of token system though, or just a couple tomestones for each completion.

    Never. This is a MMORPG, not a Mario game.

    We all forgot why Jumping in a RPG is a bad thing, go back to Ultima 8. In summary, the jumping mechanics in RPG games are mostly a cosmetic thing, not functional. You can jump so you can pseudo-climb over inch small obstacles, where in V1.0 you couldn't jump at all and had to sometimes find really stupid long-way-arounds to climb up a path.

    If the game had been designed as an action-RPG, jumping would be part of regular combat, which it isn't. At best, there's one mechanic in some of the mid-bosses that let you jump into a bubble.

    I mean GW2 has good jumping.
    There's no law saying you can't cross genres. Just look at how much and how well Nier: Automata does it.

    It's just this game does not handle jumping in a way that facilitates fun platforming. And until we can accurately control the distance and direction of our jumps we won't ever see the kind of fun and interesting jumping puzzles other games offer.

    This! God jumping with ANY precision in this game is garbage and tying it to ANYTHING, much less a PUZZLE, is beyond stupid.

    I would love jumping puzzles, the jumping puzzles work great in Guild Wars 2 and are fun to do. Im glad SE put in a least some sort of puzzle in The Temple of the Fist dungeon. Where the moving walls requires you to constently move while fighing. Any type of dungeon that has the dungeon itself trying to kill you is a blast to do. Jumping isnt hard in this game you just need to time your jump.

    While I agree jumping mechanics should be fixed, I love this idea! I always liked little side puzzles. Definitely agree with jumping puzzle for rhalgr's reach statue. Get some cool screenshots up there.

    Nowhere. I *HATE* jumping puzzles. Too many !@#$% ridiculous hard jumping puzzles, is why I quit Wildstar.

    There better never be a jumping puzzle blocking advancement of the MSQ line. I'll die.
