People who want to change to dps are the same people who forced leveling healers to use cleric stance before stormblood.

The devs are really clear on this and I support them
If we MT we're supposed to stay in tank stance throughout the entire dungeon

The only places the devs want tanks to stance change is when they're OT in trials/raids or in the story quests.
You're a tank first, that's the role they want you to do.

Either we keep the trinity or we don't

Or we remove tank stances like they did with healers but that won't happen in stormblood so ask for removing tanks stances for 5.0.

The real problem with queus
Is that they added 2 new dps classes. If we had blue mage tank no one would be complaining.

It's all intended by SE so tanks will be spending most of the time in tank stance except when they're OT'ing, I don't think they will roll back on that matter.

I think the suggestion is removing the ability to turn off Tank Stance. Eg like with the healers, the DPS skills all scale linearly based on level and current gear ilevel, nothing else. All those secondary stats are meaningless.

I'm in tank stance 99% of the time, so I have no issue.

I only drop it on DRK when I need MP (WHM Holy Spam stopped my Blood Price MP Regen).

every dps has an agro management skill, perhaps they should start using it, ive noticed ill drop from 2 (half way to 1) on the agro list to 3 (1/4 filled) and its on a short cooldown

The problem with queue is that tanks have responsibility.
It is easier to be a not so good DPS and not many say a thing (if there is no damage check), than a not so good tank.

Adding a blue mage tank will be like this:
day 1: oh, a new shiny job. Let's do it
week 2: I switch back to a DPS, too much responsibility.
