    Tanks are fine (show your support so they don't change them)

    People who want to change to dps are the same people who forced leveling healers to use cleric stance before stormblood.

    The devs are really clear on this and I support them
    If we MT we're supposed to stay in tank stance throughout the entire dungeon

    The only places the devs want tanks to stance change is when they're OT in trials/raids or in the story quests.
    You're a tank first, that's the role they want you to do.

    Either we keep the trinity or we don't

    Or we remove tank stances like they did with healers but that won't happen in stormblood so ask for removing tanks stances for 5.0.

    The real problem with queus
    Is that they added 2 new dps classes. If we had blue mage tank no one would be complaining.

    I liked the tank changes a lot and I hope they don't change them. If you feel the same please let them know here.

    Who's suggesting removing Tank Stances lol?

    All we tanks want is our damage back. Bring back VIT scaling damage. we're sick of losing aggro to dps and it will only get worse as better gear is introduced.

    It's all intended by SE so tanks will be spending most of the time in tank stance except when they're OT'ing, I don't think they will roll back on that matter.

    The reason people don't tank as for popularity is the mentality of some of the player base on here. Only need to read stories about new tanks not being able to learn their craft being DPSer rushing off and pulling more mobs than the new tank can handle. If you want more Tanks available in this game it isnt skills sets or moves that are causing it, it is literally the players themselves.

    Until the mind sets are reset and we all work together DF will ALWAYS have long queues because tank players will only tank for those they get on with and trust.

    The problem is the powercreep from DPS, who get more damage from all gear, in compasion with tanks, who get damage aka enmity only from weapon and left side gear.
    By the rapid growth of the stats the playerbase is expecting tanks will probably get in the situation that they can only hold hate in tank stance and spamming their enmity combo. (not healthy for the tank population)
    And this situation will happen, inr dungeons sooner then in raids, when min ilvl tank meets maxed out DPS.

    Well lets be honest, PLD is amazing, and WAR is still a badass. I fooled with DRK a bit and its not bad but there is something off with it. DRK needs...... something, IDK what though. Haven't played enough with it in SB to figure it out.


    An overall fix for the problem of hate control would be I think to make Tenacity a bit more stronger and add a enmity bonus too it. Math it out to a 10% bonus to enmity every hundred Tenacity capping at say 50%. Would help people with hate and make Tenacity a bit better, though I'm in the camp that thinks Tenacity was suppose to be better but its bugged at the moment. They talked it up to much for it to be as lame as it is.

    Stay in tank stance on mega pulls maybe, or until the mobs thin out a bit, sure, but staying in it the whole time is just bad play. Bosses are still very easy to build a lead on and swap to DPS stance as well, none of them hit nearly hard enough to justify staying in tank stance. Even bosses that do hit exceptionally hard like Susano Ex can still be comfortably tanked in dps stance once a lead has been established.

    The current tank issues are that aggro is going to get progressively harder and harder to hold as ilevel increases and that the changes to WAR and DRK are clunky and frankly make the jobs not fun to play. Both of those problems are completely removed from your and many other's idea about what is and isn't a "true tank."
