    Suggestions for healer movement abilities

    I've been thinking ever since I've tried Red Mage that it would be a bit exciting if somewhere down the line that healers also could get a PVE movement ability like most other jobs now have.

    [SPOILER]When we spar against Lyse in Stormblood in a cutscene as seen in the opening movie, we move quite fast when jumping forward, even as a WHM, so it's not unwarranted to have movement utility.[/SPOILER]

    Some suggestions:

    WHM
    Surf: Move quickly in the direction you're facing. Water force slows enemies where activated for 1 sec. Range 5 yalms, radius 2.5

    AST
    Distort: Teleport 5 yalms in the direction you face. Distortion slows enemies for 1 sec. Range 5 yalms, radius 2.5

    SCH
    Converge tactics: Fairy pulls you to itself in a 15 yalm range.

    DNC
    Leap: Rushes to target and heals self and nearby ally. Movement speed increased next 2.5 secs.

    Converge Tactics would be better if it worked in reverse, fairy snapping to you, but that's basically the "heel" command with some more urgency.

    Dancer in this list makes me sad.

    But, honestly I don't see any need for these spells. Red Mage can utilize these skills as they operate best at both ranges. Our other mages are pure mages and function best at a safe range.

    No matter how funny that Surf move would look.

    This made me chuckle a little. Also can you imagine how terrifying it would be to see a WHM 'Surf' into combat to start Holy-ing everything? We don't really need movement skills though.

    Not sure if you get sad because dancer not yet exist in the game or not; I'm just putting it out there that IF dancer ever comes, a rush to an ally could be useful from what I've seen other people suggest dancer should be :)

    They are utility spells and could be used to get to safe distance for the pure mages, especially in solo content or PVE content with a lot of aoe dodging as an oh-crap ability. BLM already have their Ley Lines that they can teleport back to at lvl 62.

    Considering how fairy's AI and fairy placement works I don't see why I would want to teleport myself to where my fairy is.

    If it was something more like Black Mage's Aetherial Manipulation though it would be interesting.
