    SAM is working as designed, it has no utility so it compensates with top-tier DPS.

    The other jobs aren't under-powered because SAM is top-dog. It's because their base kit is broken af. BLM's Heavensward rotation is doing more DPS than its 4.0 rotation. That's something nerfing SAM/RDM won't fix.

    Edit:
    Nerfing SAM/RDM will bring the DPS gap closer. But it wouldn't fix the core problem of job mechanics being broken.
