LF JP server with many English speakers except Tonberry

My friend and I return for this game after 2 years and now we're looking for a Japan server (because we're in Asia atm) with many English speakers and friendly because Tonberry is now too crowded and cannot create new characters.
Please give us some hints and adivces.
Would be appreciated for your help.

I have an alt on Typhon (the world you're in) and there are a few English speaking FCs there.

Except for Tonberry, you're not going to see any English shouting on any other JP server. While there are pockets of English players, there's not enough that shouting does any good for English players.

Masamune was the pre-launch/legacy Oceanic server, so there's plenty of English speakers there. It was the server I was on until they unlocked non-legacy servers for legacy players.

Well, according to xiv census the most active worlds are bahamut, chocobo, mandragora, shinryu, tonberry and carbuncle. So whichever ones of those that aren't locked is probably your best bet. Typhon is one of the lowest pop worlds, my bf plays on it and he rarely encounters foreigners except in DF. Obviously english speakers exist on all the JP servers, but a higher pop server would probably have more.

That's not quite true. A lot of English players use the auto-translate function (especially those who played FFXI and were used to it). Also, as I mentioned, Masamune still has a fairly large English speaking population, though nothing compared to Tonberry.

anyone know how can we check when the server ready for create new character, like the periodic time that SE will look at the server to decide which type it is (every week maintenance), I still give hope on tonberry

Nobody knows when they will open the servers up again. Wait for news from SE on lodestone.
