    Disappearing Platforms and Bosses

    When my friend does the shinryu fight the boss disappears and the platform as well. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

    I'm unaware of any fix, and ive battled this issue for a couple of years. Its due to a memory leak in the drivers or the game. Only way to help this is running in dx9 mode. That doesnt entirely fix it but it cuts down on those occurances.

    Disabling LOD settings within FFXIV may help or maybe fix this too.

    I didn't know this was a thing for AMD O_O I had issues like this for a while and just dealt with it by relogging. Well i know now when i upgrade i won't go AMD

    I have the same issue with my AMD. Usually fix the issue by logging but in cases I've had the issue and at least could still target the boss I just deal with not being able to see anything. Haven't found a solution for it tho, I'm just upgrading and saying screw AMD.

    Well if you all have an AMD R9 280X or above, including RX 460/560 470/570 and 480/580, the used prices on eBay are ridiculously high. You can sell any of these cards for 2x of their value. Sold an RX 470 for $400 when purchased for $150 XD

    You can then commence to buy a very nice nvidia card several notches of performance levels above what you had.
