    My thoughts on how to fix Warrior.

    My thoughts on fixing Warrior.

    Upheaval: Change this so that the potency scales higher the more health you have with a max potency cap of 500.
    Onslaught: No longer requires rage increased to 30 second cooldown.

    Unchained: Make this a buff with no cost (rage), also remove the shared cooldown with Release The Inner Beast, however make it so Unchained and Release The Inner Beast cannot be used at the same time. REASON: Since Infuriate cannot be used pre-pull anymore this puts Warrior at the lowest in terms of burst enmity.


    Skull Sunder+Butchers Block: Reduce potency to the same as Path combo increase rage generation to the same as Path combo.REASON: The reason I have for this is that players shouldn't have to make the choice between enmity generation or mitigation.


    Shake It Off:Makes the next Ability/Weaponskill requiring rage cost 0 rage, ends upon the use of a(n) ability/weaponskill that requires rage. Additional effect: Weaponskills used under Shake It Off will heal the user for 25% of damage dealt. Duration 15 seconds. Cooldown 30 seconds. Gives Warrior a mini version of Bloodbath.

    agree with everything except for skull sunder+butcher block, if anything WAR should have all their potency buffed to increase their DPS as they don't have utility so they should have more DPS and/or survivability than other 2 tanks

    I would agree with this however then we would have Warrior off tanks spamming double Butchers block combos because that does more damage currently. While would make Shirk more effective in practice this is just bad overall. Warrior also has the benefit of being able to use 2 combos before having to use Storm's eye again to rebuff so there would be no need to buff the current enmity of Skull Sunder or Butchers Block.

    no what i'm talking about is buffing all of their skills potency, not just skull sunder+butcher block combo
    if we want to avoid people ripping aggro by spamming butcher block combo the best option is to buff storm path and storm eye damage to be equal or more than butcher block, not nerfing butcher block

    The tank damage is roughly the same right now the problem is utility vs utility. Warrior should be buffed but I don't think it's necessary to buff all their skill potencies, however if they were going to buff combo skills I'd rather they still buff Butcher's Block combo and Path Combo to be the same Potency so that way if your MT you can Eye>Block>Block and and not lose out compared to Eye>Path>Path

    it it necessary, especially if SE want to keep WAR as the no utility tank their skill potency need to be buffed a great deal
    for me ideally the potency should be
    skull sunder 220(previously 200) and butcher block to 300(previously 280) make path and eye combo deal the same damage as those
    and then fell cleave to 550(previously 500)

    Increasing the combo potencies by arbitrary amounts is fine if damage was really the only thing people cared about with Warrior right now, but the core mechanics of the job are currently flawed and its facing an identity crisis these changes are meant to address this and look for ways to make the job fun to play again. So once again I agree that potency changes can be made I would rather look at the job as a whole and address the bigger picture.

    well i mean i just said i agree with everything you said except for the "nerfing butcher block" part so i don't need to address anything else about other things
    but making them better offensively is the part that i want to address and i think is what they need

    Yep and to be honest I'd also like to see a change to Onslaught as even with this version of Shake it off it would still be very underwhelming.
