You have to have paid for the requisite amount of time prior to the end of the event. This can be achieved early by paying for more than just a month up front instead of just paying from month to month.

So.. just to clarify.. My account has 38 days left of game time on it. So if I get a 60 day game time card it'll count for 90 days?
